Alright, I get it. Many people have no interest in a non pro saw that’s less that 50 cc’s. In that case I’d recommend hitting the “back” button on your browser and heading to the next thread.

I needed another small saw after I donated my Poulan to the Zogger benefit. Finally settled on the Husqvarna 130. 38 cc, 2 hp in stock form, 10.2 lbs. So it’s not a featherweight but still lighter than all of the 50 cc saws and many of the 40 cc saws out there. This saw is a completely new model that is supposedly intended to supersede the less than successful 120/240 family of saws which had a multitude of issues.

It took almost a month to arrive but I picked it up from my local dealer today. I had offered to buy it from Spike60 but he advised me to buy it locally because shipping the wonky box (more about that in a minute) would prove to be costly.

When I first saw the box I immediately understood what he meant. I honestly fear for the future of Husqvarna if they are going to do stuff like this lol! All of that wasted space just so they could ship the saw with the B+C attached. And the box was significantly buckled at the joint anyhow by the time I received it!

I like the combination of grey and orange. And the styling looks very much like a 550 but smaller
 
Clutch tool?

Why would you want a tool to "work the chain brake"?
Not being to familiar with the husky/Jreds I some how took the clutch cover off my 2240 with the chain brake engaged. :dumb2: don't ask me how. I guess that tool is for dumb asses like me.

I did that when I had a husky 450 rancher. It was a special time trying to get the clutch cover to fit back on lol
 
Nice little saw! That exhaust port looks very narrow at the cylinder the cylinder bore, so lots of potential...... Any pictures of the carb? Also, is a "Turbo Clean" air intake design?

According to the website, it has "air-injection" as does the 135 Mk2.
The exhaust port is narrow because the transfers are right next door.

Thanks, the air injection is unfortunate in regard to heat-soak and vapor lock, but I have enough 40cc-class saws so it won't be a problem! I understand the port layout, but suspect there's still lots of room for widening - no doubt the narrow port is adequate for its intended position in the marketing lineup.
