I really like husky 346s. @SuperDuty04, if you didn't know this, you can put a 346xp piston and cylinder in a lot of different saws, 340, 345, 350, 353 and their Jonsered equivalents. The top ends are very cheap and you can make a very nice running 50cc saw without spending a lot of money.

Favorite big saw so far is my 395xp. 661s are fun also, but I like how easy the 395 is to work on and how reasonable husky parts are.

The Stihl 440 is also a great all around saw.

thanks Ryan, that’s the exact kinda info i like learning around here!!

I like when people start these threads, even though it's been done many times before. It's nice to periodically see what people are interested in today, vs. 2 or 5 or 10 years ago.

262XP is still my favorite saw, but I like a LOT of different saws, and truthfully, it would be quicker to list the saws I don't like lol.

Saws change rapidly anymore
And the newest computer saws even faster
Updates,module's,revisions etc.
I'll stick with what's still running perfect from the 80s
Some guy's like the autotronic stuff
That's great were all saw guy's.

For now I’m in the 80’s and up but no puter saws yet. I like the way the 550 looks and sounds that might be my last new saw. Unless husky offers a new beast between the 550 and 572?

There are more than 2 best saws out there tho.. In no specific order. 066/660 064 046/460/461/462 044/440 i dont think the 441 qualifies for this. 036/360/361 362 dont make the cut. 034s 026/260/261 395 372 572 550markii 346.

All those would be at the top of the pack. Probably forgetting some huskys..and 088 would be up there if you need a saw that big i reckon
