I am a recovering "old school" ddrt, hitch climbing kinda guy who is looking to expand my skills and knowledge in the srt world. My old Buckingham is about done for and I have been going crazy looking at replacements. Looking for recommendations for a good all around saddle that will handle both climbing styles well. I don't care to spend money, once... LOL.

Thanks,
Tom

TreeMotion

Monkey Beaver looks pretty sweet too...if you can find one.

Sequoia is another that seems to be popular, but I've never used one.

petzl Sequoia
Im much the same as yourself old school & had the same harness for years & had been looking to replace so tried on as many possible.. The petzl Sequoia was light comfy and had all I required & i think they make a Sequoia now designed for double rope and SRT rigging oh and cheaper vs the TreeMotion which is pricey

The Sequoia seems to be the saddle of choice among my buddies as well. Probably the route I am leaning toward.
