Wow! You apparently can't say p-o-r-n on this site. I called his photo "truck p-o-r-n."
Last Sunday. The safe Halloween parade was postponed till after Halloween. Usually the Sunday before.

Thanks it's my favorite truck . Pretty much original with 150k on it . I redid the seat and a new trans. Truck came from the state of Washington. So no rust or rot cept the small hole in the rocker and had a slide in camper all its life. No dents in the bed
Major breakout from hibernation today . . . made photos.
Here's an October maple leaf my wife brought home from camp. Been keeping it on the dining room table. Doesn't show but it's actually pink and green. A little color goes a long way this time of year.

Maples are full. Ash are past full. Birch 3/4. Aspen just starting.
You still have Ash? Pretty much gone here. A little early for colors yet but we had frost delay on the golf course Sunday AM.
Yes, we have black ash. No other ash species are native up here. EAB spread has been slow in northern MN because we occasionally get to the magical -40f temp that supposedly kills EAB larva.
EAB is established in Superior, WI which is 100 miles southeast of here because the lake effect makes the winter weather much more mild. But once you get away from Lake Superior, we see quite a but of -30 and a little -40.
Black ash only grows near water so if EAB does make it here there will be a lot of barren swamps and river/lake edges but won't be as decimating as what you guys have dealt with when all of your white ash died.
Here is the view out the back window at work. The smaller trees have dropped their leaves and the larger ones have a little left.
