My 3 year old cs590 had been sitting for about 8 months. it was put away with stabilizer in the gas and cleaned. I pulled it out today to start cutting up an oak that was cut down on my property. It ran fine for about an hour , then suddenly started sputtering and died while it was idling on the ground. Now it won't stay running , and it bogs when it does run. I`ve changed the gas, put in a new fuel filter, checked the air filter(clean). Checked the spark plug,nice light chocolate brown.It sounds like a fuel problem , but to happen randomly has me puzzled. I am going to change the tank vent when I get one. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.....Thx

Yes, dumped out the old fuel and put in fresh pre mix

If using gas with ethanol, could have messed up the carb. Also check the fuel line.

Use either Stabil Performance 360 or their Marine stabil for ethanol gas. The pink stabil does nothing for ethanol related issues.
