A whole bunch of parts has arrived as per the advice of many of you here for a rebuild. I can’t wait to get stuck in, and I’m sure ask many questions in the process.


I have also put together a space dedicated to saws in my office cupboard...



What are you hoping for / treating yourself to this Christmas? This beauty has just arrived in Australia I won’t be getting one though, a little too expensive to use once a year on 6-12” green wood

Bonus is already spent on a new stove for the wife and home owners insurance and property taxes and I don’t even have it yet. I don’t get it and there’s going to be hell to pay! I might get a new chain for my little echo 310 if I’m lucky. Would prefer to spend the money on a nice milling saw but that’s not in the cards this year.

A week or twos good rain, these bushfires to go out, a few weeks holiday and some motorvation...

Hoping for rain. Had to buy timber to make Christmas gifts instead of using my own slabbed stuff. Too dry to use a saw on the properties I have access to.

Apart from crazy stuff I’m not going to get - 1973 Porsche 911 2.7 RS - I’m pretty well set in life. No gifts required this year.
