Any recommendations on a good after market cylinder for 028 super. Seems some brands are not highly thought of. It seems Meteor only makes piston. Any issues with putting Meteor piston in other brand cyl?

I'm sure someone has a good used OEM jug. Put a want ad in the trading post. Way better than some no name Chinese casting.
I put a hyway brand one on a 028.seems to be fine.guy at work is still using it and that was 2-3yrs ago.it was a super top end from HL supply.

The old Tecomec sets from Italy were really good but I have heard they are made in China now so not sure of the quality there now.
Yep, Italian ones, TECOMEC, are OEM quality.
Lil Red Barn still had some but that was a year ago.
Save OEM jug and put a OEM or Meteor piston in.

I would but it's a little rough just above the exhaust port. The Meteor pistons seem to be good but they don't make cly for 028S
