Do these look like Stihl Serial #'s ?

I've exhausted myself for now trying to find an online Stihl serial number decoder and found myself here.

Quick background info. I'f an Investigator for a Sheriff's Office in Georgia. I'm working a case where a large number of chainsaws, pole saws, and shaft trimmers were stolen. I have the tools to find them (i can check serial numbers of items sold in pawn shops nation wide), however, getting correct serial numbers from complainants can sometimes be a difficult task.

From what I've gathered Stihl Serial numbers are 9 digits (all numbers)

The serial numbers I was provided with look like this:

do the last 9 numbers look right? does not to me because that would put some starting with 0?

I just called my contact, they could be Echo saws, they use both. Problem is they have 100's and I'm getting information 2nd hand etc from secretaries and under bosses etc.. Do those look like Echo numbers?

There is not an online source for Stihl SN data. You will have to contact a Stihl dealer.

These are certainly Echo serials.Both my 490 and 590 serials are like those.

The people don’t even know what kind of saws were stolen, and the owner can’t be bothered to answer a couple questions for the investigator...lol, good luck finding them.

The serial numbers that start with a C look like newer Echo serial numbers.

I just purchased a Echo cs 590 chainsaw Saturday 12-14-19 from a local Echo Dealar that has the serial number of C69015042XXX , I put xxx in replace of the last three numbers.

I'm not sure about the T prefix, but they look to be echo also.
