I buy a lot of saws come in that destroyed, cheap, good for parts or rebuilds and when they leave here I do give them the maintenance and break in talk etc but if they don't listen or don't care at least I tried.

People take care of their cars the same way.

Brake rotors that are literally ground down to the cooling fins because the pad material has been gone for 30k miles...ask them if they heard any noise when they stepped on the brakes? Nope...everything was fine. Hasn't had an oil change in 30k miles, 150k miles on the same transmission fluid, original air filter in it, tires that are completely bald and they refuse to put new tires on it. Then they're pissed when you tell them the trans needs to be replaced.

They're either ignorant OR they're lazy OR they don't care.

Same with anything mechanical.
