My saw started out as a Makita DCS 6400.
Several years ago I put the 7900 Big Bore kit on I got from Bailey's.
It's time for a new piston and Bailey's no longer carries replacement parts for it.
So I ordered a piston kit off Ebay that was located in Greece.
This was almost a month ago and now that kit is lost in the mail.

The 7900 BBK uses 54mm pistons as opposed to 52mm in the DCS7900.
Stihl MS660 also uses 54Mmm pistons and are readily available.
Does anyone know if they will fit?

thanks

He may have good pistons but he can keep them. After over a month he offered no resolution what so ever. Ebay had to refund my money and he said I accused him of never shipping, which I never did. He flames all his negative feedback instead of trying to solve the problem. Just bad business.

It looks like hyway makes one. Contact vendors who sell hyway parts and see if they can get you one. I buy from a few vendors on ebay all the time who are great to deal with. But there are a few on here that I'm sure could help.

This is a little off topic but personally I think the NWP BB kit for the 7900 is a pretty nice top end. I put one a saw and it had great power and was good n clean. Sold that saw to a friend who ended up having me port it and it ported just like an OEM top end would. No chippy platting or anything.
