When this one goes down, I can give you both! The saw will have the hours ran stored in it and I can give you a footage count by adding up my load tickets.I wonder if work was measured in cords or board feet instead of hours if the numbers would be more comparable?
Its fascinating how Husqy and Stihl have taken completely opposite approaches building a 70cc saw, the ms 462 is built like a 60cc saw.I believe that seeing how robust it's built, like a 90cc saw.
You could have the cylinder that goes with it for $17 more.I recently ordered a brand new Husky 272 piston from my local dealer for my brother's saw for ~$100. It showed up and by golly it was a made in Brazil Mahle -stamped piston. Apparently even Mahle is moving to foreign countries.
Only negative I've heard is the clutch covers are weak. Other than that they seem good to go, Stihl normally does their homework. Its fascinating how Husqy and Stihl have taken completely opposite approaches building a 70cc saw, the ms 462 is built like a 60cc saw.
Do you know if the 462 is proving to be durable?
