Today I messed with a 372xpw cylinder and rescued a stihl that has been mine for years.
Someone did guess right it is 440. I've ran it as a 440 440/064 then I had a little ooooops and now think it'll be a 440/046.
Not junk by any means but is on the back burner for now. I screwed up and didn't mean to post the little pic.

Heres the xpw cylinder before I got distracted by the sled

Then the sled, a old work horse mtn max 600 updating it alittle with a bar riser kicked forward 15deg and raised 4". Also gutted the muffler. The 600runs well with triple pipes and a good can neither of them I can afford so I cut and gut.

Pretty proud of the bar riser. But took a weight penalty so I took it out on the muffler

I do plan to get the 440 going this winter not entirely sure as what I've got a couple 44 cylinders I've ported that run pretty good a couple 46 cylinders to. I doubt I'll go the 064 piston route again.
The 440 is wearing some 046 plastic with inside gutted to clear the airfiter that's kicking around in the photo.
The 440 and 372 will be fighting for the 28" I used to be alittle stilh biased even though I always ran both but kinda wondering if I might like the orange antivibe and they seem to run just as well. I may need a 70cc saw running in the next few months maybe.?

One more distracted photo. Snow is hitting idaho late. But is finally good up high.

Damn...im kinda jelly..i live in alabama and have never saw a snowmobile in person...

That damn 020 came with a bunch of stihl parts I bought off a stihl dealer that was no longer a stihl dealer
I have weed eater motors 066 044arctic 046 034 440 parts and junk that came with the deal.
I keep the 44 46 66 stuff and have actually started throwing the rest away.

We love the snow. Riding on 4ft of powder is amazing almost like a jet ski

Ahhhhhhh I see, Okk, you can tell I’m pretty green here. Thanks for clearing that up! That’s hilarious

I've been on this forum like 20 years. But I feel green
I'm just messing around. Making a bsing thread. I guess I could get banned for it **** they've done that before guess I'll just go away for another 5 years if that happens.

I may have a need for a 90cc again someday. Kinda wishing I didnt let the ones go that I had. I'll hang onto the 70 and 90cc stuff.
I'll like give or throw the 020 away. I don't have use for it even if it was a running saw.

With my welder in the truck it sticks out always. The ramp is the deck and goes in the receiver .

I'd love to have a 650 with a cat motor.
I'd put it to use doing more than dragging a sled around

Ahah, HarleyT was correct then, it’s funny how you know each others subtleties like that. I suppose Harley must have been here for a fair while too!

I've been banned a few times. Only a few names are familiar to me
Apparently I lied only been here 11 years

This place watched flying things distract me

Thanks I've been around sleds all my life but this is the first one I've owned. Almost in it with no money. Im second owner of this 600.
I'm not much for trail riding. Will see how into this snow stuff I get. So far I love powder and mtns.
