    McCulloch Chain Saws

Here are some pictures of the air filter setup on a PM850 as purchased. It would certainly keep the big stuff out. Air box was clean, but I bet that was done before the sale. Not recommending this, just showing someone's creativity. Ron

I believe it is from getting push back in a top bind. I don't know that to be the case; it could be purposely bent. I too have seen many bent. Ron

    McCulloch Chain Saws

North East Tennessee Saturday MAC Report Beautiful HOT day in North East Tennessee today. Temps in the upper 70s. Conora virus concerns have a lot of folks around here rattled. Seems most of the cases in our county are college students returning from Spring break. College is shut so all...

    McCulloch Chain Saws

Assembler, welcome. I doubt anyone has a compilation of pages related to the 125. Better to ask specific questions. The gas tank is integral to the saw - intake, handle, cooling etc. so I doubt removal is practical. In addition, it is large and the 125 is fairly economical in my opinion...

As usual you are correct. My brain said it right but it didn't make it through to my fingers. I read it before I posted and thought to myself that that doesn't sound right and almost googled it, but convinced myself it was. Age or stress - for now I am going with stress. Ron

    McCulloch Chain Saws

North East Tennessee Saturday MAC Report Conora virus concerns has cost us our inmates and has kept many of us at bay. Earlier this week I was asked to load wood today so I headed out early this morning in a slight drizzle. We have had rain off and on all week but I wasn't aware that we had...

    Cutting to right side

I find most times it is me. Some saw handle configurations are more prone to this than others for me. If you do it long enough the bar rails will wear internally which promotes a curving cut. I have several bars that you can lean the chain in one direction and not at all in the other. Ron

Church is live-streaming instead of meeting so I had extra time today and went to the grocery store. TP pretty much gone, I can handle that. All the potatoes, except the red ones, gone. Now that's a problem. Ron

North East Tennessee Saturday MAC Report Didn't even notice the weather today so let just call it a beautiful day in North East Tennessee. The woodlot is out of wood. I took the afternoon off mid-week to bring in two white Oaks - thought it would take a couple hours, put in almost 7 hours. No...

The "Not So Pro" discussion thread...of course Pros are welcome!

Not for stuck in the woods, but I always carry peanut butter crackers and nuts in the console. Makes missing a regular meal easier. My stranded box under the seat carries more crackers, nuts, beef jerky and water. Used to carry some chocolate but it melts on warm days. For frequent use, I...
