Aren't the KAS saws the models that were sold with a compressor attachment for an air bag?

Gurus? Husky 242 Xp vs 346 Xp?

You seem incapable of not offering an opinion on everyone's mental state - projection?. Rather than argue with a child, I will put you on ignore to end this back and forth. However, when you get old and are not the "man" you used to be, and some ignorant opinionated child is poking fun at your...

Gurus? Husky 242 Xp vs 346 Xp?

Maybe instead, YOU should put the guy on "ignore" if he causes you so much aggravation and butt-hurt, rather than derailing threads he starts.

Your trolling adds exactly ZERO to this thread.

Husqvarna L77 Let the Adventures Begin.

Waste motor oil in the bar oil reservoir is a huge pet peeve of mine. I don't mind all the cobbled repairs but cleaning a saw thta has had that crap sprayed all over the pto side of the saw really ticks me off. If you are too poor to buy bar oil, maybe you shouldn't own a chainsaw. On a more...

New Website Design / Layout Poll

I didn't vote yet because I am undecided at the moment. I will say the print is much easier on my older eyes, so I like that change. The smaller avatars are a minus in my opinion, but not the end of the world.

Mag Rot - How Far Is Too Far?

I have to get some of that stuff! Pretty amazing how well it works.

Do we still have any chainsaw women on here?

You've got trees like that in the Yukon? When I was in Yellowknife, the biggest tree was about as big around as that girls lower leg, and was the most sickly looking Charlie Brown tree you've ever seen! And Quebec and Ontario are the sugar bush capitals of Kanuduh!

Want to buy 262xp Full wrap handle

Likely around $80, maybe a little more depending on the funding situation. I don't know what the market would bear but maybe you could get significantly more than that - I don't know. Most of your time would be involved in getting set up for production. Once you had the design, jigs, and...

    372 crankcase repair bad spot

I was going to say the same thing. We used to do epoxy coatings at work and everything that we didn't want epoxy on got a smear of vaseline.

Want to buy 262xp Full wrap handle

Well eventually you will get there. I bet if you come up with a repeatable design you are happy with, you could sell a pile of them on feebay. I remember when Matty started making his installation tools and all the troubles he was having, but once he finally got things sorted out he sold a LOT...

    Husqvarna Sticky!

There have been guys playing with a chainsaw dyno in the past but that seems to have up and evaporated because I haven't heard of any more testing in a few years. I think a dyno would be incredible fun though - I have a pile of saws here I would love to test, and then play with some cylinders...

Want to buy 262xp Full wrap handle

If you ever get set up for making handles, a 3/4 wrap like I've seen on some Stihls would be a very cool addition to a couple of my 262s.

Looks like a tough old beast of a saw. Does the fuel go in through the clutch cover?

What did you think of the quality of that kit? I bought the Meteor 288 kit and there is good and bad. The good: nikisil plating is excellent, port timing was exactly like oem cylinder, casting looks nice, bevels are very good, piston/rings are good quality and sized to cylinder (B). The bad...
