Low compression on my new Stihl MS362

The 5 compression test are null if they were using the wrong tester like stated. Post a vid. The problem could be a simple fix with a fresh set of eyes and ears.

FarmerTec Huztl MS660 Updated Build Kit - Build Thread

It was. Out of 4 pumps 1 quit and bedford sent me another so I didn't have to wait. Thanks Bedford, Ireland sent me another no questions asked. When I put the pump on I put the worm on before I tighten the screws to help center the pump.

I have 2 running huztl cylinders and 1 with a meteor. The huztl's arn't round. And when I tore my first one down after only a couple tanks I could tell. The saw was still running fine but I wanted to upgrade the cylinder before I gave it away. The cylinder had a lot of high spots where...

FarmerTec Huztl MS660 Updated Build Kit - Build Thread

I may have a oem to measure I'll see. Most of the time the master control switch needed to be shimmed on each end, Its to loose. A thick straw over the ends or I've even cut a strip off a leather glove to add slight outward pressure to the switch. Something else you can try.

On your oil pump I would look at the plastic worm gear also. The wire on mine would slip around then wouldn't pump. I would get a decomp plug coming. You don't want the possibility of the valve leaking. Squish on all 3 of mine had.023-.025 with the huztl cylinder and no gasket.

How do you like them long term? I didnt look I heard there was different ones but didn't want to chance it. I actually like the softer rings and hope the saw lasts to wear them out.

I'm with you here on the extra oil. I personally run 32:1 all the time for the extra lube for the bearings and the chrome cylinder I also keep the tune around 12,5-12,8k. I had 3 I built to gave to friends and 2 in which cuts wood everyday and are a year old now. The other guy cuts only...

FarmerTec Huztl MS180/250 Complete Chainsaw Kit

Are the needle bearings missing or are they trying to use a bushing now? I have a huztl ms180 topend and crank I was sent for testing for a unrelated problem. This one has a bearing and no up and down movement.

I was thinking the same thing. But I think very little reading went on. During that 156 pages of reading there would have been a comment or question way before now

    Crushed MS270 Re Birth

With that much dirt I would take the covers off the carb and check the screen. Fine dirt will pass the main filter. Going to be a nice saw again when your done.
