    Unlimted ignition module for 390xp

Yes the 544 047 101 coil is an unlimited coil that is perfect for the saw, I thought they quit making them, guess I was wrong. Pretty much all those black coils will work, even the ones for 346, 357 and so on. Yes the 346 is a Husqvarna saw, the later model known as the New Edition came with a...

    Unlimted ignition module for 390xp

The main advantage is ease of tuning, this lets you dial in the saw easier, but you won't really gain power. I know some like the coils from the 372xt that is limited to 13,300. The NE346 14,100 coil has a nice ignition curve and a stock 390 won't want to turn that many RPM anyway, that's what I...

Does the factory test-start all saws before shipping out?

The chain break is really stiff in the 395 and takes a lot of force to operate. This isn't the first time someone has had this exact same problem.

    Lightweight 32”

The Tsumura bars are nice, but the tips are known to fail in hard use, I just had one fail on a 36" bar. The Oregon is ok, but as mentioned not very stiff. The best one I've seen is the Stihl bar. Haven't seen the Cannon yet, but if it's anything like their other bars it will be second to none...

    Chainsaw Smoke

And sometimes people accidentally out bar oil in the wrong hole.[emoji6]

Anyone know what oil Trufuel uses in their mix?

Yes it looks like they distribute some of the products. Calumet bought Royal Purple sometime in the early 2000's. I believe bel-ray is its own stand-alone company, but they may buy base stocks from Calumet.

    Chainsaw Smoke

This saw doesn't have an engine that shares a crankcase with the bar oil, so there is no way for bar oil to get into the engine. The saw simply needs to be tuned and ran long enough to burn off the oil.

Anyone know what oil Trufuel uses in their mix?

Don't believe that company does anything other than offer those products. Omni specialty packaging makes Stihl oil products in the U.S. The oil used in Trufuel is Motul, VP was using Motul until they started making their own oil.

    Chainsaw Smoke

Yeah it's likely rich on the H. Letting the saw idle for long periods of time will load it up with oil.

    Chainsaw Smoke

If the fuel mix is between 50:1 and 32:1 and tuning is close, all you need to do in run the saw under load and the residual oil will burn off.[emoji111]

    Clutch fun

Revved a saw without the clutch drum on, luckily I realized it pretty quickly and all I did was lose a clutch spring band, it went flying into outer space.

    Looking to buy a Ms441

The 461 is nla here, not sure about the great white north. So the jump here so now 362 to the 462. For Canada the price you listed on the 461 is actually incredibly good, that's not much more than what they went for in the states, I'd grab it fast if I had the cash. The 461 weighs the same as...

    Looking to buy a Ms441

If that's the original starter " which is likely" the saw has a regular carb. It doesn't look to be in bad condition, but it's definutly seen a bit of use by the look of the handle and chain brake. Weather or not you should grab it really depends on the price and what you're looking for.

    Looking to buy a Ms441

Not sure exactly what you're asking? Yes the 441 cam without the Mtronic system, but most were earlier models, most of them in 17 were Mtronic. Does the saw have CM on the recoil? It's possible the plastic covers are from a different saw. You'll have to examine the saw in person, make sure it's...
