20 years ago, I bought cut split semi seasoned firewood from up north for $125/cord delivered by the tractor trailer.
As mentioned, it's all about location and need for the firewood. I can sell locust and oak around here for $350/cord and it's been that way for years.
According to my online...
no, they don't "think" it's over, they realize they bought WAYYYY to much stuff thinking the end was near and now regret it. TOO F ING BAD. You want to hoard stuff, that's on YOU. now they don't have money for dope and booze.
Now Costco and others have implemented a no return policy considering everyone has settled down now and are having regrets for their purchases. The idiots now want to return the gallons and gallons of hand sanitizer and bundles and bundles of TP but Costco says no.
some stores around here are opening earlier in the mornings for elderly only, over 60, between 5:30-8:00 so they can shop for what they need when the shelves are full and with less chance of contracting the virus.
because it's plain stupid. explain to us why all this food is needed? why all the TP is needed? Was there to be some sort of shortage on the supply end? You do realize the virus is a respiratory issue, right? Not a gastro issue? Fact is, you'll probably make yourself sick after eating a bunch of...
And almost gone means it comes back around when everyone lets their guards down. It's never going to be gone, it's just a matter of how do you protect yourself against it. The flu isn't gone but we prevent ourselves from getting it. This covid-19 is a bit more complicated and far more...
until it mutates like the flu. Common cold, SARS, MERC, all are corona viruses but some we have vaccines for covid-19 we don't have it yet. And even when we do get a vaccine, it could mutate to a different one, maybe covid -20 or something
an internal medicine doctor mentioned that to me the other day. Never mind the TP, how about food.
Or do people not know how this process works?
(and by the way, it's a respiratory issue, not a gastro issue except in very rare cases)
