I use a piece of gasket material and gasket sealer to seal around the intake and exhaust. I also use just a soap/water mixture and spray around the seals and gasket areas to check for leaks. Brian.

Not much to report on the wood lot side. I started out splitting wood on the wood processor until after the first load of wood came in from Ron. I started out cutting with the PM800 until I hit something in one of the logs and dulling the chain. I went and got the PM805 and cut most of the...

Ron, We have not cut together in a while so I kept trying to get a picture of you while you was at the lot in action and every time I would snap a picture of you, you would at that second turn away, or look down , or your would be over your face, something every time. That was the best picture I...

PM60 is good but it seams like the PM800 will do it all, I do like my 10-10S really well. Brian

As Ron said I am hard headed, but felt the need to cut today. Just don’t feel right not cutting or helping in some way. I started out the morning with thePM800 for some bigger stuff and then went to the 10-10S for some smaller stuff. Then Ron came in with a load of 10 to 15 inch logs and I...

Thank You Mark. I have a 35 that is reving with the throttle closed so I figure it to be a bad seal Brian

Update on the MAC 35. Got the parts to rebuild the carb, cleaned it and installed it. Had to prim it to get it started. I am pretty sure that it has a air leak. It revs and stays reved high. When I work the throttle I can hear the engine change pitch. and it will sometines calm down to somewhat...

MS, It will break and spin 1/4, 3/8LP, 3/8 and .404. I really like it. I have used Ron's and it is good, but this one has a die that holds the chain from moving in one direction and that makes things much easier to break chains. I seam to have trouble with a conventual unit centering them to...

Maybe one of these days I will get him to at least ride that Bul. Or maybe the KDX200 or the Sherco or the Goldwing.... Or maybe one of the race bikes. I do have a chunk of RR rail at the shop, somewhere if it has not sprouted legs. When I am needing an anvil I forget that I have it. Parts...

Mark, How do you clean your bars that clean? Mine has some rust on it and I would like to clean it up nicely if I am going to use it as a display. I am afraid I will take off the McCulloch off it. Brian

Mark, you have a nice selection of chain. The 35 I am working on now has what I think is 1/2 inch chain and a 16 inch hard nose bar. One thing good is after cleaning the chain it looks almost new. It will mostly be a display except for when Ron uses it. But I still want it to be able to start...

Did not get to cut any Saturday so I cut some today. A neighbor called today and asked for help felling and bucking a oak. Here is a picture. Cut most of the day with the PM805 and the PM10-10S and some with the MAC140. Brian

Mark, I am restoring my old 35 and dropped the little ball, number 64 on the diagram. Would you know where I might be able to find one? I dropped it and it rolled off into the wild blue yonder. I need it running so Ron can cut with it all day. Also number 62 gasket. I know it's a long shot...
