    Is Chainsaw Flipping Season Over?

Yea I do see seasons of saw sales, they really pick up around here in the early fall when folks want to cut firewood. I've seen a recent drop though in the last 6 months around my area and it's due to the poor economy. Lots of companys shutting down, layoffs and that sort.

Best saw build under $1000 for firewood cutting saw enthusiast?

Well it matters were you live. I've used 084 and 088 for bucking sap ladin western larch firewood, it was right a 5 foot in diameter. Most firewood I cut here in the pnw is doug fir in the 28 to 42 inch range which the 395 works perfect for.

Gurus? Husky 242 Xp vs 346 Xp?

Well I'm 39 and usta live and breath small block chevys. Built quite a few 377 destrokers, even a 352 which was a 400 4 bolt block using a 3 inch stroke 302 crank with AFR 220cc heads. 9000 rpm baby. Anyways I've only owned 1 242xp in my life, it was a revver for sure, but I was never happy...

    Working on it! MS380 52mm

That decom location is custom. Stihl never put one vertical out the head like that. The ms382 is the closest saw to the 038 that has a decom, and it comes out of the head at an angle

What Was The Best 70 CC Husky

I would say 372xp OE. Then do a single ring piston, and zama c3 from a old 365 and do a poleman mod to the carb and make sure the coil is a black one. That with a dual port muffler and you will have the highest revving and torquest non ported 70 cc saw out there
