It's almost always the oiler diaphragm. Just replace that and you're good to go. They're still common to find and are super easy to swap.
Usually these model of saws smoking is a result of the impulse oiler diaphragm/gasket leaking bar oil into the crankcase and subsequently burning...
That there is definitely not scoring as a result of heat but as a result of debris, usually carbon, scratching the exhaust side of the piston....
