Actually the 461 shares an inner with 440/660 and it's variants.

You can order the older set of dawgs that include the roller chain catch and comes as a kit with the hardware included.
Explaining felling dawgs is seriously one of the biggest pains in the ass and one of the most over analyzed things on chainsaw forums..
The factory cover on the 362 has recesses to be drilled to receive the dawgs...you don't need an older metal clutch cover lol.

After 2 months on a 462 with just a muffler mod I can tell you I wouldn't even consider a 440.
That chain that comes on it is way too much for it.
