Harry I would second the Jotul 118 suggestion. It will handle 24" logs, is attractive and easy to use. They are not hard to find used.
My understanding is that ever since the 'new' EPA requirements, Jotul has used re-burn tubes that make the top loader configuration not possible....
The Jotul 600 has the door on the right side. The Oslo is on the left. I have both and am happy with both.
