Contrary to certain propaganda, these saws do not have stratocharge. Every time a two cycle exhaust port gets raised the compression goes lower.
Pull the carb sideways while it's running to tighten that loose spot. Maybe better not though, you'll have a toasted piston soon enough.
I really probably should not give the formula. Without the magic potion no one else can do it anyway!
