Congrats. They are a bit heavy, but a well built solid saw. A simple muffler mod and retune helps um out some.

You need to use hi octane fuel and mod the muff. I did mine... now it goes vrooom vrooom rataa ta ta ta ta. :rock:
I put 91 octane in my 023. Now i have a hotsaw. This thing is amazing.
Block the carb, impulse, and exhaust. Testing through the plug hole is fine. Squish check only matters if you remove the cylinder from the saw.

I'm not sure why they are doing this, I'll try to find out. I do have oem 034 jugs that are both open and closed port.
Usually test cold. Comp will drop when warm. Even warm, 90psi is a dead saw. That's why it wont stay running.
