oh NUTS...looks like the tree will be cut down. Bummer as this was an Arbor Day Assoc tree that has been nurtured for a few summers. Oh well..better to cut it down that watch it die off.

I have quite a few young chinese chestnut trees (all less the 4 yrs old...most are 1-2 yrs) while many of them are thriving I have one that is getting wierd splits in the trunk and patches of brown on the branches

Man oh man...some of you guys must cater to the wives.:heart:..my Dearest Hubby (cough :bang:cough) figures since he and the kids cut and stack I get to feed the OWB all winter...I tell the kids that they may have stacked it all but Momma has to move that whole pile during the winter...granted...
Since we have an OWB the thought of getting up in the middle of the night to feed it makes me cringe....as for getting hubby to feed it...forget it....he cuts, kids stck and momma feeds the outside child...
My last check on the "outside child" is generally around 10:30 at night.....morning...

i built one many yrs ago (i should post a picture) 16hp Briggs v twin its been fine other that the seals in the cylinder are bad. (if i replace them it will bend 1.5 inch thick steel foot)

hmmm we have a couple old Jonsereds (2095 and 670) that we have been using a synthetic called "Golden Spectro" which was designed for hotrod 2 stroke motorcycles/Atv's with really good luck. We haven't burned up a saw in over 400 cords of firewood. Of course that would be mixing with 93 octane...
