Hi everyone, I have a Jonsered 625 II that rev very good at high speed but dies when I release the throttle. No idle at all. I cleaned every holes in the carb and put a new pump and diaphragm kit. Someone got an idea or a tip on what could cause that problem. Thank you very much Dan

Hi! Made a log jack today. Gonna be useful for ne next days as the snow melt pretty quick! Made from scratch..all stick welded. Just needs minor adj. and paint. Good day!

Thanks for the good comments! The trailer is intend for small logs. The kids will use it. The wood lot is pretty well drained, so not much muddy ground. In the picture you can see the trail that lead to the wood. it is solid ground almost year long.

This is a atv log trailer i built. Haven't tried it yet. Maybe i'm gonna have to reinforce it...will see. The other picture is a log skidder that i build. The towing bracket will be modified for a hitch mount type when time will be avaible. Have a good day!

I really like to put beech wood in the stove. It gives good heat and coal that stays very hot. But here it is hard to dry well. I cut beech around November and December, then take it out right away of the forest and cut it to 16 inches. That way it starts drying during the winter. I split it in...

Yes it is cold for this time of the season. But I like cutting and logging in the winter when it is -15C. No sweat and the air is so fresh!

The bark is thick and is like cork. The french name of Rock Elm is ¨Orme Liège¨. If I translate word to word it means ¨Cork Elm¨ That is the reason why i believe it is Rock Elm. I have to wait for the leafs appearance and fruits to make sure. Tx!

Tx all for your answers! In southern Canada there's only three kind of native Elms (American,Red and Rock). On the range map, my living area is not in the native zone of Rock Elm but i know it could grow out of that range that why my questionning and be sure. Up to now i only saw three of them...

Picked up the wood cut by the powerline co. today. It was cold this morning about -5C. We did it with an ATV. Pictures of the working day and wood stack.

Wood pile is growing. Tomorrow i have to go to my other wood lot. Powerline co. called me last week to inform me that they clear under lines. 18 ft large along the road. They were suppose to do it last fall. I'm not very happy of that. Gonna take pictures.

Wow! nice outfit....JMS is good equipment + the bombi! The best ATV for that kind of job in my opinion. So sad the Co. stop the production of the Traxter. I am in the process of building an ATV log trailer...it's almost finished...Will make a post when it's done.

Thank you for the infos Haveawoody. You are right, it can be out of the main range. On that wood lot, I only identified two elm trees about 6inch Dia. with the bark similar to the previous picture. The bark is thick and spongy like kork. The trees are on a 110 acres wood lot I have about 20min...
