Howdy Folks,
Looking for the grounding strap that goes from the coil to the engine. Also could use a coil and a flywheel. It's an older one with adjustable carb. The previous owner must not of had the coil tightened down and it vibrated the grounding bar in two, then the coil flopped...
Howdy,
I have a 520 and I think its a good saw. I would not pay new saw prices for one though. If its like new for real and not scored, I would have no problem paying up to 200 for one. I like them.

I don't know who is most liked, there are many good folks here. I would like to cut with Indiansprings, Thall and Sawtroll one day though. They remind me of folks I know and are no longer with us.

I would advise to buy the best saw you can afford and a size bigger than you think you will need. I spend more time splitting, hauling and stacking than I do cutting. The faster I cut the more time I have to get it in the shed. I don't know if new saws are worth the high prices any more...
My story is I retired from the military and bought a small farm with a broken down house. When it got cold I found out the oil burner was bubble gummed and bailing wired together. I decided to get an outdoor wood stove. Found a used Echo CS-510 and commenced to cutting. Found another used...
Howdy Lagwagon,
Thank you, I do see one on there but I stopped doing EBAY a few years ago. I can't believe its been over three weeks since I ordered these parts and stihl can't get one to my dealer. Sign of the times I suppose.
Anyone else know where to get one?

Everyone is different but I used a 50cc Echo for three years and got buy ok. If I could only get one saw it would be 60cc. I don't think you can have enough saws, tractors, guns, banjos or guitars. Buy the best you can afford at the time.

Howdy Folks,
I ordered two parts to convert my 460 to the high output oiler. One part came in the other is back ordered. Does anyone have the parts on hand?

Howdy Anthony,
I don't know if its the same oiler or not. On mine you can't touch the chain. I took the bar and chain off and ran it and it makes oil like the 361 did, just a little comes out. Putting the new parts in fixed the 361. I'm confident the 460 will improve once I get the parts...
Hello WV Wood Chopper,
I run all types of saws but mostly Stihl now because of dealer support. My 460 is bone stock and there are two things I don't like about it.
1. The flippy caps, they don't always go back on right and you waste time fooling around with them. I hate em, one of the...
