I have an original MS362 and I like it. Runs great. It is not better than the MS361. That was a better all around saw. I have both and like the 361 better. But would not tell someone not to buy a MS362. I have found that not all parts are for a MS362. They changed carbs and other fuel and air...

Yes, if it is a 2014 put a 2015 carb on it. Older then 2014 make sure it has been rebuilt under warranty. If it is a 2015 or 2016 hell yes! Great saws.

20" to 28" would work fine. A 16" bar on a 440 is "odd"

Landscape supply companies. Fabric store burlap might be too thin and for decoration only. Plus a landscape supply will sell a basket to put it in and support and shape the root ball.

If it is done budding you can pop it out in a proper root ball and wrap it in burlap and pack it in dirt or chips and keep it watered until you are ready to move

It should be fully dormant. Avoid any budding stages.

The reason why there is no serial # tag is the dealer replaced the complete bottom end with a new replacement case from the factory. Some dealers will take the time to swap the tag and pop new rivits in. Some will not.

OEM Stihl rebuild or Walbro? I am asking since the Stihl kit comes with more.
