    lichens on pin oak Thanks Adrpk for the quick reply. I found a great website on lichens: http://www.lichen.com/portraits.html#anchor315751. It looks like the Pin Oak either has Caloplaca ignea, Xanthoria parietina, or more likely Xanthoria elegans.
