    The vise isn't centered. The safest thing to do is reset the pawl after switching sides. That way you can start a little long and fine tune cutter length so both sides are equal.

    It's not difficult. You just need to remove some screws and push the case halfs apart. The crank then can be pushed out. If you don't have a crank case splitter you can use heat if your careful not to melt anything. There's probably a few hundred posts on here where guys have fabbed up crank...

    You're going to need a new crank. Welding would work but you would need to true it up after welding that. By the time you go through all of that trouble it may bust off again. Used cranks are pretty reasonable price wise.

    Over revving for long periods of time can sometimes lead to ring flutter which weakens the piston and causes the piston to break between the rings.

    If it has two keyways you can use either. Some 1203s have a single keyway and those only work with the limited coil.

    I have one, you can get them from England shipped conus for less than 100. They are a very nice helmet, atleast compared to my Stihl and Elvex which are garbage in my opinion.
