I've got a 10mm 044 that I just put together. New OEM bearings, seals and piston. Definitely a work saw, but not an ugly one; nothing cracked or stripped. I'm at work at the moment, but PM me if you'd like pictures.

So I have this old Timber Bear that I'd like to rid myself of. I thought it would be an easy project, but it hasn't turned out that way. The saw runs very nicely and the manual oiler works as I'd expect, but I can't get the impulse-driven automatic oiler to work at all. I pulled the oil tank...

Depending how he feels about flippy caps... I just put together a 10mm 044, complete overhaul including OEM bearings, piston, gaskets and seals. No decomp, though.

I'm working on a 365 Special, and the previous owner decided that the way to overcome the carb limiters was to turn the screws REALLY HARD. He bent both needles, and subsequently scored the piston. The rest of the carb looks good, but I'm open to replacing the whole thing if nobody has a donor...

Yep, from what I found when searching the 520 is open-port and the 5200 is closed. Otherwise I think they're pretty much the same. Good luck with the search.

I have a 520i that I picked up a few months ago and haven't done anything with. It runs and doesn't appear to need much, but I haven't gone through it in detail yet. Not in Canada, though.

I have a used 24" Total Super bar and I think four decent chains that'll fit an 044.

Not sure, I haven't been able to get a decent photo. The dealer just quoted me $200 out the door for a new tank, which explains the popularity of the knock-offs!

I've been tapering off the saw acquisition game. My job has gotten more demanding (in a good way) and something has to give. I'm down to... what, maybe 25 saws now? I'm nearing the end of the Stihls, and will probably start in on the Huskies pretty soon. Then there'll be a long tail of old...

Without pictures it's impossible to set a value, but it's probably worth around $200 - $250. As I think was pointed out in your other thread, you're unlikely to be able to sell it here anytime soon because forum transactions are inherently risky, and you don't have an established reputation...

If you've got a scanner you could make those into PDF's, and even use OCR software to make the list searchable. Up to you of course, but the way this is going you could answer a hundred inquiries and only unload a handful of parts.
