Check the muffler screen, they like to get clogged, and certainly won't run that way. If clogged, remove and burn it clean with a propane torch. Then consider trying a different oil that will burn cleaner.

You don't mention if this is after refueling, but if it isn't... Try loosening the fuel cap briefly to see if you have a tank vent problem.

The first pull that feels slightly harder than the first, that is your burp. Burp is often felt rather than heard. Usually no more than 2 to three pulls when cold. Switch to half choke at that point. Will probably start next pull or second after that.
