60cc saw testing on professional grade.

It's good to have options. I carry two 14" top handle's, two 50cc 16-18", two 60cc 20" and one 24" and one 28" saw everyday to work. I did 12 blown over Oaks yesterday and man it was nice having a choice and not having to sharpen or refill across the yard or in the bucket everytime a saw runs...

60cc saw testing on professional grade.

Vice nice saw in alot of area's. Firewood and felling it rips. Bucket and climbing it's not so good. Lots of chain speed and torque. Easy muffler to mod and tunes up real nice.

    Figured I'd add a picture of a 2016 562 fueled and 2016 362c type 2 fueled.

60cc saw testing on professional grade.

I've ran a few of them. Most of my 362 praise is on the type 2. Poulan 3450/3750 is a joy to run. Not something I could really buy parts for and keep in service though.

60cc saw testing on professional grade.

Exactly for limbing and bucking rounds it is no doubt the quickest factory saw. I mean for a 60cc saw to pull a 28"-32" bar is phenomenal. Not saying the others can't they just don't do it the way the 562 has proven to me it can. Race chain to race chain and 20" bars I've ran all these saws till...

60cc saw testing on professional grade.

Sorry I never factored it. One I'm doing service work and can't really keep track. Another is it's never mattered to me. I'm about smiles per tank not rounds per tank.

60cc saw testing on professional grade.

No not really. I've had it on the bench sometime waiting for a 7900 top end. I've thought about doing a test on it's class but it would involve me buying. Echo 670/680 Stihl 038 Husqvarna 365 special Solo 665 Jonsered 670, 2165 Efco 6500

I would enjoy trying one out. I've seen Oleo Mac has a newer updated version across the pond.

60cc saw testing on professional grade.

One thing I wanted to mention was modding a saw for personal likings or work fields. Enhancements per say. I quickly found that you can't just buy customisation parts for every model. Start with the Echo Wrap handle is about the only upgrade available. Stihl 361 or 362 wrap handle and...

Mod the muffler deflector and trim the carb limiters.

60cc saw testing on professional grade.

Tried to get my hands on one and always fell through. Just left me feeling like if I couldn't than nobody really could keep one going on a daily work crew.

60cc saw testing on professional grade.

361 is the pinnacle and close is 362c type 2. 036 just isn't a option anymore. I sold mine shortly after buying a 262xp because it was more the saw of the era to me and 361 took it's purpose.

60cc saw testing on professional grade.

First impressions 362 takes the longest to break in 562 second 6100 third 620p If you think you can just pick up a new 362/562 and it just shock you, it wont. They really don't feel spunky until about the the fourth tank of fuel. Same with the 6100. 620 feels strong out of the box. 262 if you...

60cc saw testing on professional grade.

Filtration I feel the 262 kinda owns this category. Early 362's and 562 are not the best compared to the Dolmar and Echo 620. Some issues have been fixed and can be fixed though. Weight 361 is a clear winner in this. The saw feels light and actually is light. 6100 feels the heaviest to me...

60cc saw testing on professional grade.

So what did I come up with. Alot of folks just don't want to explore into a different platform. So i feel they up talk the brand they value. Facts are I really have enjoyed all these model's. So let me break this down into a way that won't kill me trying to type everything I experienced...

60cc saw testing on professional grade.

This all started around 2012 when I really started taking chainsaw efficiency into my work day. I really got interested in the 60cc market because of the exploding Market and variety of offerings. So I set out a goal of purchasing and using every model I could get my hands on and cycle them...

Logger's... Faller's... Quit a week here in Florida when they come down. How about you cut over a structure! 110 degree temps and humidity. We Love yall west coasters over north easterners though. Would agree more if yall push the end state off into the ocean though.

    576xp being replaced with 572XP . . . Latest generation auto tune

Hopefully they hurry up with USA release. My buddy and I have already discussed him buying a 462c and me the 572xp and walking back to the wood pile. My 372 beat his 441c and his 461 beat my 576. So this will be the tie breaker!
