    MS340 upgrade to 360 - worth it?

I had a 340 that ran better than a friends 360 better compression too , I don't think there is much of a difference If both Top ends are genuine the 360 is slightly bigger . The 340 is a pretty strong saw if it's running correctly just might have a worn out top end A factory fresh 360 top and...

Dolmar 9000 find today and some advice needed

I’veNever done one But I think if you square away the fuel line see if the tilli fits, work out the linkage and if it flows enough you should be good that’s a big mill needs good flow not to lean out. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Dolmar 9000 find today and some advice needed

By the way if you keep it upgrade to the 9010 flywheel and coil they are still available and make the saw come alive . With the coil update they will run 13,000 plus rpm without it they are governed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dolmar 9000 find today and some advice needed

I would check eBay for the fuel line and the chainsaw shop as well, I forget the web address, as for the Piston and jug , open her up and polish out the jug and find a new piston and some caber rings , they are available and a few companies make solid replacements , I would not do the big block...

    BB Kit Makita EA6100P

Yeah it’s about a half a pound or more lighter It’s a great pro quality saw carries more fuel and because it’s stratified it Helps it’s breathing on the top end making more power and allowing higher RPMs I don’t know if yours is Electronically tuned or not Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    BB Kit Makita EA6100P

Good thing is it’s much stronger and lighter than a stock 6400, the 6400 was open port design the stratified 6100 is a revving machine Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    BB Kit Makita EA6100P

6100 is a totally different animal I think it’s a Strato saw don’t know if they have any decent kits for them. I know for sue the kit for the 6400 won’t work , I loved mine gobs of torque . I think is was 88 ccs with the BB kit Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
