    yes indeed--hang a wet towel outside ---it will freeze but eventually dry out--winter air is usually quite dry

    I burn quite a bit and like it for firewood----splitting takes about 3 or 4 times as long as something like ash

    Just found a couple of Kentucky coffee trees to cut up. Anybody burn much of this? How is it for firewood.

    I go for hackberry over ash--great firewood--seasons quickly--splits easily except for crotch wood ---only drawback is that it does go punky sooner than most if left out---keep it off the ground for sure

    Easy firewood score

    I once saw a house built entirely out of stacked 2x4 and 4x4 lumber. Solid 3.5" inch thick wood walls throughout. Anyone have any information on building walls by stacking these 4x4's
