Want to Sell Timberwolf TW-6 for sale in Texas

Thank you. Yeah I'm getting out of the business. My day job has picked up to the point that I don't have time for firewood anymore. Got a few saws I'm gonna be listing too, if you are interested. Pretty much gonna sell everything listed on my avatar except for a 250 and a 660.

    Selling my TW-6 (Houston, TX)

I need to post a video of it. You can literally push the log down the line with one finger. You can also back your trailer/truck under it and unload big logs out of it onto the ground.

    Selling my TW-6 (Houston, TX)

That's right. I use the tractor forks to remove the pallet of wood and move it out into the field into the sun. Then I put a new pallet on. The zip line setup including the hoist cost me about $250..works great.

    Selling my TW-6 (Houston, TX)

My operation has completely eliminated bending over at all to do anything. I even cut the pole logs on a saw horse that is 36" off the ground. The tractor grapple puts the poles on the sawhorse. They are cut standing up at waist level. The hoist and trolley brings me the logs, and after they...

    Selling my TW-6 (Houston, TX)

Oh yeah it would. That zip line is 100' long. Instead of cutting the rounds and rolling them to the log lift, I just pick them up with the hoist and trolley them to the splitter. I mainly use the log lift as a staging table now. I haven't rolled a round on the ground in a long time.

    Selling my TW-6 (Houston, TX)

Thinking of slowing the business down a bit. Im having a hard time finding enough logs to justify having a splitter with this capacity. Maybe time to sell the TW-6 and just use my old Husky for awhile. Im near Houston, Tx. I paid between 11-12k for it new back in 2014. Its got every option...

my newest invention, Log splitter with a hopper!!

You are right, I'm pretty much stuck in the same spot with my operation.

my newest invention, Log splitter with a hopper!!

With my setup, I no longer have to bend over to work firewood. I cut the logs standing up on a sawhorse made of other logs, trolley them over to the splitter, then stack them on a pallet on a table. Once my pallet carousel gets here, all I have to do is spin the pallet around to stack the...

my newest invention, Log splitter with a hopper!!

I ran a zip line type cable system between two large trees, and added a hoist on pulleys that run on the cable. Im able to grab a block from my cutting pile, hoist up the log and down the zip line to the splitter. Heres a pic of it before I positioned the splitter. Ok pic wouldnt load from my...

Heavy rains in Texas.. the good and bad for our firewood business

Ok guys so we have had heavy rain for the past 2 weeks seemingly off and on every day. While I never like to complain about the rain after our 2011 "mega-drought" across our state, it sure sucked getting all our equipment and gear out for a hour of cutting last Saturday. We didn't have the...

    ive had enough

Makes me glad that our winters down here are only 3 or 4 months long at best. We had a cool front come through this morning lowering us down to a chilly 57 degrees. Its been sunny and 80 every day this week.

This is how my wife repaid me for my family time this weekend.

Man I have spent every weekend since the end of January cleaning out the woodlot or repairing equipment. It didn't take a lot of prodding because we had so much rain during the week, there was no way I was going to be able to do much in the woods last weekend anyway. But, what can I say? My...

This is how my wife repaid me for my family time this weekend.

No after that my wife was pretty shook up along with the kids so we called it a day. My kids are 8 and 10 and were scared because of all the blood in the boat..kinda ruined the mood for fishing. I didnt realized it looked that bad until we got back in the truck and she showed me that pic of...
