Did Stihl ever make a bad saw?

I've had that happen too.

Most of us understand how much power it takes to turn a given sprocket size. Usually stihl has them sized about right.

You usually keep a small saw around a chipper so if you run into a forked branch that won't go into the chipper you can cut it off. A battery saw would be great because you wouldn't have to start it.

A battery saw would be nice to use with a chipper.

I got my new cylinder last Monday. It does not have a decomp hole.

My 170 would not idle long with the stock carb on it. I put a WT215 on it and it will idle all day now. Did you get a cheap aftermarket carb? Does it have a high and low adjustment? Have you played with the L adjustment?
