How fast can you change your bar and chain?

Really bad video, don't watch it and don't get that fast at changing bars. Being slow at changing bars is an excuse for having more saws. One saw for each bar, going up in 2 inch increments..... all ported of course.

If You Could Only Have One Chainsaw Forever...

Stop being silly, that's like saying if I could only have one golf club what would it be.

Thats actually a very nice pic Jeff. We should have a bit of a comp who can post the best fire photo. I won't be posting any wood burner pics any time soon as it will be shorts and tee shirt weather for the next 5 months.

Im going to start streching my hand on the steering wheel too. I asked him how do you doctors remember all these names and terms...

Never heard of 'Viking hands' until i asked my doctor what the lump in my hand was. That was two years ago, i now have two lumps. Currenly 45 years old, can't see it going away by it self. What were your options apart from living with it and surgery?

If you're having these sorts of medical issues you may want to consult with Dr H.Ranch.

Going back through some pics on my phone so here’s some scrounge news. My local tree lopper TXT’ed me ‘would you like a load of bottle brush and Melaleuca. Never burnt either of those so I figured lets give it a go. I think I may have made a mistake with the Melaleuca (paper bark) as the bark...

Help me with my two-saw plan

That 3 saw plan is spot on. I too have a Ms201 but i also have a 550xp (50cc) and a dolmar 7900 (79cc). My advice is to tell your wife your only going to end up two saws a 261 and a 462. Buy them, sell the 291 then drag your heals on selling the 201. If she mentions anything just tell her...

I think the general rule of thumb is run the shortest bar you can get away with. Im normally running a 20" on my 7900 but have a 28" which it runs fine. Now that I have a 661 it runs the 28 and I have a 36 too. I'm a big fan of cutting through logs in one hit.

    Stihl 400 cm specs

I have a 550xp and 7900 there's a decent size gap between them. Perfect for a 400 to fill, they did have a 500 on the shelf too but didnt pick it up.

    Stihl 400 cm specs

Dropped into my stihl dealer today and checked out an MS400 for the first time. Switched between the 400 and a 462. The 400 is definitely smaller, lighter and feels more flickable.

This could be the excuse to buy a Ms881 rather than a 42 foot bar.

Looks like it would be beneficial to invest in a 36' or even a 42' bar for Limby. That way you can own the roadside scrounge scene for the entire distrct. Especially up agains ms170 or ms250's. I have a 36' bar for my MMWS 661 and it screams fully buried.
