consider installing the OEM heat shield between the muffler and cylinder that only the 039/MS390 has, it is there to keep the larger, hotter-running motor from becoming heat soaked from the muffler side and going lean from that cause

I much prefer the feel of an 084 when I am running or racing them but the 3120 is the preferred platform for race builds especially the bored and stroked pipe saw class 0-140cc I'm not saying an 084 cant be built to win but they are few and far between that actually do

is the tang of the worm gear seated properly in the slit of the clutch drum? if it isnt seated all the way it will hold the drum and rim and washer out and the clip wont fit in properly

ported properly a ported work saw will run cooler and last longer than a stock equivalent saw
