Get a 461 while you can. In fact get 2. Keep the 2nd one in the box. And sell it 5 years from now. You'd make all your money back and then some.

Do they work better for noodling on an ms461?

I got a 461 and I'm glad I did, so much so that I think I'm gonna buy a second to give to my 6 month old son for his first birthday.

saw is a echo cs355t. I bought a cheap wired tach of ebay. hooked it up and started tuning after i had completely messed up my H and L screws. manufacture calls for a 2800 rpm idle and 13.5-14.5k rpm at WOT. got the tach to read about 12k-13k after tuning, and the saw feels good and sounds good...

Is there another chain catcher you use if you install large felling spikes? I put some aftermarket spikes on and i had to file a hair off the chain catcher for clearance but when noodling today i noticed i was getting clogged in the front cover where the chain catcher and outer spike meet.
