Check the flywheel. I just did one where the flywheel didn’t sit on the taper very well. It never gripped the taper and it stripped out the casted in key on the flywheel. Ran great for 1 tank than it just quit. Pulled over like it didn’t have a plug in it.

You must have had an isolated incident, Ive never heard of one issue from the oil ever. A few of my old riding buddies are certified Polaris techs and have seen pretty much everything when it comes to stock and mod sleds.

I retract my previous statement, I just checked their website. Originally It use to say on the bottle it wasnt recommended for premix, Now it says for 50:1 mixes. I still say its overkill for a saw, and more expensive compared to other options.

It may have been said already but interceptor isn't recommended for premixing. It was designed for exhaust valve equipped oil injected 2 strokes, mainly snowmobiles. It has no dye in it either which wouldn't be convenient as a mix gas indicator. It's a great oil to run in a sled with power...

there would need to be more of a tuned expansion chamber type of pipe/muffler to make it worth while to use a exhaust valve.
