    2511t gas and oil caps

I have them. They are designed to seal on the edge rather than bottom and the thread pitch is slightly different, so they were a waste of $.

Want to Buy Stihl MS261 plastic parts

A friend backed into his MS261 and wants me to fix it. Unfortunately some parts from Stihl are backordered with no expected available date. I'm looking for a 261 parts saw with good plastics. The fuel tank is intact but I need most of the other plastic pieces (loop handle, top cover, carb/master...

    Oregon Speedcut nano release date?

Anyone know when the new Speedcut nano .325 .043 kits will be released? Saw it on the battery T536lixp at TCI Expo last year and really want it for mine. 3/8lopro sucks! Rep said they will have sprockets for common saws in addition to the bars and chain.

Want to Buy Husqvarna oem ignition coil for a 359, same as 372 and others

Looking for a ignition to fix my buddy's Husqvarna 359. Used is fine as long as it's good.

    Echo CS2511T

I'm running 1/4" .050 Oregon bar and chain now. Match made in heaven for that saw. Only issue is that the drivers are tiny so it gets thrown more easily and the teeth are small so don't run it in the dirt...at all. Climbing only saw.

    Echo CS2511T

Try the WoodlandPRO 30LP in .050 gauge or 34LP if you want to switch to .043 gauge. My experience with the 91vxl is chattery as well. The rebranded Carlton chain (woodlandpro) is better. Or try Stihl 63PM

Stihl MS201TC M won't start after being run

Actually the saw is still sitting on the bench. It's not the coil. I swapped it out with one from another 201tcm that got dropped. Problem persisted. Swapped carbs and that didn't fix it either. Next step is to take it apart to do a vacuum/pressure test. This saw is owned by the company I work for.

Will the Real Compression Test Please Stand Up!

Also don't forget to take into consideration the altitude it was tested at. Drops a little over 5psi for every 1000ft above sea level. A saw reading 160psi at sea level is going to read 132psi at my house.

    Drying vs Non-Drying Vegetable Oils

The main problem with veg oil is that it burns and leaves residue on hot parts of the saw, like the cylinder and muffler. I've seen saws so caked with burned oil the cylinder cooling fins are blocked. It's very hard to remove. If you care about your saws and your health, you can use veterinary...

200T stiff to turn over after replacing seals

The problem was I drove the clutch side seal in too far and pushed the bearing in so it was rubbing on the crankshaft counterweight. I'm shipping the saw to lone wolf.

200T stiff to turn over after replacing seals

It's so tight that I can barely get it to turn with the starter. Can't get enough speed to start it. I put the seals level with the surface of the case. The rubber is fine. I used a rolled aluminum can over the crank to slide it on smoothly. Pressure and vacuum tested great.

200T stiff to turn over after replacing seals

Probably the seal thickness. I have a spare set I'll measure against the OEM seals with calipers. The other things you mentioned aren't likely. I used an OEM plastic piston stop and removed the flywheel with a couple of taps from behind with a plastic hammer.

200T stiff to turn over after replacing seals

I tore down a buddy's 200T far enough to replace the crank seals and pressure test. I installed aftermarket metal rimmed seals. They went in well. Oiled bearings, seal surface. Put it all back together and now it's very stiff to turn over. Turned fine before. Put oil in the piston, no...

    Drying vs Non-Drying Vegetable Oils

I wouldn't do it. Viscosity is to low. Why risk burning up your expensive bar just to save a dollar or two?

    Stihl 020 AV Coil Replacement

The problem could be the points or condenser. These saws did not have electronic ignition. I sold the condenser out of my 020AV to someone who needed one. I would up sending the entire crankcase half since I didn't want to damage it getting it out. He managed to get it out carefully.

Converting my ms362 to standard carb

A carb off a 361 will not go on a 362, they are nothing alike due to the 362 being stratocharged and the 361 not. But you can get a non-mtronic carb and coil off an early 362 and put that on there.

    Recommend an Arborist Helmet

I've had a Protos for two years and wouldn't wear any other. When I have to wear a Petzl with comms for crane work I hate it. No face shield and clunky muffs. Also the Protos is broad enough to give a little shade, which I like.
