    Friction saver for spar work

Used it today. Worked pretty slick. Like I said, I'm only going to use it when the spar is too wide for my Buckingham one. Sent from my SM-G920W8 using Tapatalk

    Friction saver for spar work

It grips it pretty tight. I actually switched from a mechanical adjuster to a VT with a micro pulley when I was using it as a lanyard. Sent from my SM-G920W8 using Tapatalk

    Friction saver for spar work

Hey guys. I used to choke my line off with a running bowline when working down the spar. I'm waiting for a zigzag to get here and realized I won't be able to do this anymore. I took a wire core lanyard I don't use and made this friction saver with it for spars that are too large for my...

    Bye Bye 540xp

I bought a 201tc and have been running it the last 4 months without a single issue. Starts first pull every time. The way these saws should. Sent from my SM-G920W8 using Tapatalk

Picked up an MS441c at local dealer PHO ... He priced it on closeout??

If I remember correctly, the manual just says the saw won't run at its full optimum potential until it has had 5 or so tanks through it. Don't be worried about it. How are you supposed to cut half throttle anyways? They are designed to run wide open. Sent from my SM-G920W8 using Tapatalk

Picked up an MS441c at local dealer PHO ... He priced it on closeout??

We have 2 of them. Ran them hard right from the get go. Haven't had any problems with them at all. And they have lots of hours on them now. I bought a 201tc a couple months ago. Broke it in the same way and that saw runs very strong and fires up first pull everytime. Sent from my SM-G920W8...

You will love that saw. The 441cm is by far my favourite saw out of the fleet at work. Great deal too! Sent from my SM-G920W8 using Tapatalk

    562xp Hot start?

I feel your pain man. My 562 does the same, as did my t540xp which has since been sold and replaced with a 201tc. It is the most frustrating thing especially when your climbing a tree and they won't start. My 562 had the carb updated and I haven't had a chance to try it in the real hot weather...

    Bye Bye 540xp

Update. Well it's been 2 weeks and my saws are still at the dealer. The 540 needs a new fuel tank and my 562 is being looked at. I know the dealer has been in contact with husky tech, but haven't heard anything else. Work still needs to be done so I bought a new 201tc. I put 4 tanks of fuel...

562xp warm start trouble, air purge stops working for a while

They called this morning and said they talked to their rep and now know that there have been issues. He said they would call Husky tech and get it sorted out. Hopefully it gets fixed! Sent from my SM-G920W8 using Tapatalk

562xp warm start trouble, air purge stops working for a while

It's been doing it since new. I've had it in to the dealer 3 or 4 times now for this issue. The saw has less than 50 hours on it. Sent from my SM-G920W8 using Tapatalk

562xp warm start trouble, air purge stops working for a while

Thanks for the tips. Sorry to sound negative, but it should come that way from the factory if that fixes the issues. Pretty bad you have to go to that much trouble to have a $900 saw work properly. Sent from my SM-G920W8 using Tapatalk

562xp warm start trouble, air purge stops working for a while

Bought it about 2 years ago. Pretty sure it has the older carb in it. Dealer always says nothing wrong with it... Now it's off warranty so I'm sure they will find something. Sent from my SM-G920W8 using Tapatalk

562xp warm start trouble, air purge stops working for a while

I'm curious to see what the outcome of all this is. My 562 is in the shop for the exact same hot start issues. It worked fine all winter/spring, now the hot weather is here and it won't start back up once it gets hot. My 540xp was having the same issue. Had it in to the dealer last summer for...

    Bye Bye 540xp

I've used the husqvarna pre mixed stuff a few times and it worked great, but I'd be paying a small fortune for fuel. It's just not feasible for me. We have 2 441cm's and they've been pretty bullet proof. One got stolen so it was replaced with a 461 and I definitely prefer the 441cm. Sent from...

    Bye Bye 540xp

This happened all last summer and I bought gas quite a few times throughout the summer. Where do you buy your gas and what runs best in your saws? Sent from my SM-G920W8 using Tapatalk

    Bye Bye 540xp

If it's really that simple it's pretty sad that the dealer can't figure it out. It's been in there several times for this issue . Sent from my SM-G920W8 using Tapatalk

    Bye Bye 540xp

And that frustrates me about the dealer. They start it, run it for a minute or two, shut it off and it will restart no problem for them. I say no, run a tank of fuel through it and let it get real hot. And don't run it in your air conditioned shop, take it outside in the heat. When it needs fuel...

    Bye Bye 540xp

Yep I've tried a few different ones. Doesn't really change anything. Once it's warm outside and the saw get hot, it won't restart unless you let it sit for a half hour or so. I swear the fuel is boiling in the line or something. Sent from my SM-G920W8 using Tapatalk
