    My 2006 Craftsman riding mower....

Bought it in 06 and it's been the best mower I've had. My yard is hilly and cutting the grass is pain in the ass- sitting on the side of the seat  I've pulled a drum aerator half filled w water many times up and down the hills. I have lots of Oaks and I mow/ blow the leaves into the...

Poison ivy on a load of logs

Back in the day when I was surveyor party chief I went to Mount Airy N.C. to work there for a week or so. It was summer and I was cutting line, locating corners going up on a steep hill w my machete. I was in a thicket and I reached out to cut a "sapling" about 8-12 high and cut it, then I...

Well, I put fresh gas in tank that was dry and tried to crank it and would not start. The spark plug is good. It has compression but no start. I thought there was gas filter on a hose in the tank but I can't it fishing for the hose/filter. Any advice is appreciated.

    Scrounging Firewood (and other stuff)

My 98 LS has the 4.3 vortec and 215k on the engine. The trans. was rebuild years ago but soon later it started to shudder, bad new TC. It runs out fine but going up hills going 35/45 it shudders so I just hit the gas and it's gone. It's been spanked for years and it still runs liked a scalded dog.

    Scrounging Firewood (and other stuff)

I put down some 4x4s in the driveway and stacked the green wood I've had in a pile for weeks today. It was a ***** by myself. I assume the seasoned wood pile under the plastic will more than enough for this winter. I did this before I took the S10 to get the wood w my friend.
