He said it's 4 stroking lightly which means it most likely is lean or running up against the rev limiter, Echo saws have the best torque of any 50cc saws, he said his is low on torque which points to it being to lean. Steve

Most likely that 501 is tuned lean, tuned right they have better grunt than Stihl or Husky, they need a muff modd due to the epa. Steve

Sounds like your low circuit is lean, try opening it up 1/2 turn. If no help the carb is still clogged. Steve

It could be the coil, after you get the piston in try running it with the old coil first. I think the wear on the piston skirt on the intake side was the problem. Steve
