    I heat 2250sqft 2010 build with a caddy and it is ideal it gets to -10 -15 sometimes at night and it's all it wants but does a great job my gas furnace is a 2 stage 60k btu and has only ever ran 40k but just to give you idea of demand almost bought the max caddy sure glad I didnt

    could one of those soot eater type sweeps enter a tee and clean the chimney without breaking? I have a baro in a tee and it sure would be nice to pull the baro out and clean the chimney there is 2 ft plus of snow on my roof so not getting up their anytime soon

    you can burn oil or electric with the regular caddy to, and if you had a air handler you could still have lots of storage

    well i would say the obvious choice would be an indoor gasser with storage but its the most money also

    its been zero or slightly below at night full load of red oak at night and the back has coals 6 inches deep i love it

    wood furnace arnt magical but the caddy is my first one and my long 2200 sq ft house is warm i used to heat it will a wood stove from the basement which did ok but you had to have a roaring fire at all times i am burning significantly less its 16 here tonight and i just put three medium size...
