yea i have a 920 good spark fuel compression at 95 psi is a no go. im waiting for my new piston to come in the mail old piston was chewed up from a 50:1 mix being run in it. the manual calls for 40:1 on older saws i usually run 35:1 in my 2 strokes with additional lucas fuel stabilizer in it so...

yea the rings are melted into the piston in a 1/8 inch section of the piston the cylinder still is cross hatched hopefully it will clean up ok

I found the saw on Craig's list I'm planning on mounting it to a chainsaw mill setup. I have a lathe in my shop cylinder heads are hard to find I might cut and sleeve the cylinder . I'll check compression today. But my gut says spark issue are there any coils that will retro fit it

I will have to do that the exhaust side of the piston does have some scaring. I don't have a compression gauge in my shop I'll check these things tomorrow. I got the saw cheap if it needs a new cylinder and ignition I won't be to heartbroken. Smart thinking on the tdc mark

Checked key its just fine re set charging pickup with feeler guage . Exhaust is free flowing. My spark looks good I'm wondering if it could be the coil ?

I purchased a 920 last night for 250 bucks. It has great compression cleaned carb new lines it has spark as well thing will not fire or anything. Need advice
