If I recall husqvarna oil used to be mostly peanut oil. Other than wood contamination and metal wear due to poor lubricity I wouldn't hesitate to try other oils.

The saw is used on fuels projects all summer long and randomly happens. Temps vary from 85-105. It's all fresh 91 non ethanol fuel.

Why would this make a difference?

Okay I will check those. I did put a new ngk plug in it today along with a new fuel filter. I have not tested it since then.

Gents. I have a 562xp that will die and not restart if you run it hard. You have to let it sit for hours to reatart, cracking the fuel cap will not fix it. If you cut normal you will have no issues. Is there any issues with the ignition coils on these?

Hello everyone. I bought the diagnostic tool a few years back but I never tried to use it until today. I guess I need to download the CST common service tool software but I cannot find where to get that from. Can anyone help?

Update. The batteries arrived last week and I finally had a chance to install one today. I got it soldered in and the unit reassembled, and IT WORKS! Thanks for the help guys.

For those asking about the screen

It is a cr2032 battery. How do I get solder to stick to it? I cannot for the life of me get the tabs soldered on.

Carb is clean on the inside. No bad gaskets or buildup. Yes I did try to adjust the carb and it didn't make much of a difference. I swapped the plug over to an ngk and it seemed to clear up most of the issue.

I will try and take a picture of the screen and circuit board tomorrow. There are a bunch of contact points that run across the circuit board and they touch points on the back of the screen. The screws on the black plastic hold everything together. Without them, they are two separate parts.

I can't see any numbers as it's soldered in place. I'm guessing the numbers are face down. The screen can separate from the board if you remove certain screws. When I did that and reinstalled the screws, I got a blip of screen response.

You get what you pay for. For that price, buy it and see what happens. I imagine you will experience lots of chain stretch because of the weak metals the Chinese use.

I'll try and take a picture today. There were no markings on the battery but I am guessing they are on the bottom side. Most small coin batteries are 2 or 3 volts. The volt meter autoscales so it should be accurate.

Try turning in the T screw a turn or two and see what happens. If it still wants to die, you probably have an air leak.
