Shim it found this thread too late but your problem was probably the compression release being too long and barley contacting the piston top.Went through this on an 660.made up a .040 shim on the lathe and no more problems.Might consider doing this now before carbon builds up and the problem...

oiler pump? Couldn't see for sure in the pics,ha sit got the aux oiler behind the broken handle bar?If not it's an 051 with an 075 cover on it.Just checking... Russ

Yep it should The sprocket should free wheel either way.Its a centrifugal clutch,needs RPM to make it work.Check it for spark,put in some fresh premix and try to start it.If its been sitting awhile dribble alittle down the carb first.NO starting fluid,no lubrication in it. Good luck,I have one...
