    Sounds like a air leak to me, Did you seal everything up good when you replaced the piston? the fact the piston needed replacing my mean you have a bad seal. what caused the problem in the first place? (replacing the piston)

    MS310 and 390?

    Are they the exact same saw, but the 390 is a bit bigger in the CC's? The reason I ask this is I saw a guy selling MS 310s on the net and he said they are way better in the anti vibe dept? I thought they the 290,310 390 are all the same saw just the cc's are different. I wish I saved that site...

    Your right! I am no better than the rest. I would just like to hear how as in the last few day's his saw is working call me nosy I love the 330's as a friend has one I have the older brother a 305a just love it shake the crap out of you slower than my 2152 but love the old saw.

    MS361 Problem - Oil/Fuel Leaking from Under the Muffler

    I am thinking it is just oil goo for lack of a better word from running too ritch a mix. You did good buy running a good oil at 40/1 or 50/1 I bet it goes away once you burn out the oil in the muffler.
